INDIANAPOLIS –\u00a0enVista<\/a>, a leading supply chain consulting and IT services firm, today announces it has been named to the\u00a0Supply & Demand Chain Executive<\/i>\u00a0100<\/a>, a list which highlights the 100 Great Supply Chain Projects of 2015. The magazine\u2019s editorial team selected enVista based on results the firm delivered to\u00a0Federated Co-operatives, LTD<\/a>\u00a0(FCL), a multi-billion dollar wholesaling, manufacturing, marketing and administrative co-operative owned by autonomous retailers across Western Canada. enVista helped FCL implement a comprehensive Workforce Management solution throughout five distribution centers.<\/p>\n

As part of the Workforce Management solution, enVista developed engineered labour standards and preferred methods, implemented an advanced labour management system (LMS) through Priya, and trained FCL\u2019s employees. As a result, FCL experienced a 25 percent increase in productivity for all tasks, a reduction of over 5,000 hours of labour during the first six months of the project, a reduction in overtime expenses by tens of thousands of dollars annually, and a significant reduction in its warehouse expense to sales ratio.<\/p>\n

“The enVista team did not just focus on the technical aspects associated with implementing a LMS, they took a holistic approach to the process, which helped increase internal enthusiasm and adoption,” said FCL Industrial Engineering Manager Kent Kostuk. “enVista recognizes that cultural change is required alongside a technical solution, and they provide the training and support needed to sustain that change. Together the enVista and FCL teams nailed this project as if they were one.”<\/p>\n

This is enVista\u2019s fourth consecutive year on the\u00a0Supply & Demand Chain Executive<\/i>\u00a0100 list.
