INDIANAPOLIS –\u00a0enVista<\/a>, a global software and consulting services firm, optimizing and transforming physical and digital commerce, announces today that it has achieved Service Organization Control (SOC 2) Type 2 Compliance accreditation. enVista completed its SOC 2 audit in January of this year, earning the compliance accreditation for enVista\u2019s Managed Services (security, hosting, consulting).<\/p>\n

In today\u2019s rapidly advancing IT environment, there are a growing number of cyber threats and unauthorized users targeting managed services providers in order to access confidential data. enVista can ensure that companies with multiple technologies to manage and little, to no full-time IT dedicated staff have the tools to safeguard data, and ward off the risk of undetected breaches and delays in response times.<\/p>\n

The SOC also monitors applications to identify a possible cyber-attack or intrusion (event) and determine if it is a real, malicious threat (incident) and if it could have a business impact.<\/p>\n

The SOC 2 audit was conducted by Katz, Sapper & Miller (KSM), an Indianapolis-based consulting firm specializing in management consulting, technology services, and data analytics, in accordance with the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).<\/p>\n
